CHURCH DEDICATED TO S. MICHELE
It seems that the old Church dedicated to S. Michele was built in 1150 AD. And according to experts, the tower consisting of six-pointed arches is very similar to that of S.Maria Lo Plano.
Of the sixteenth-century church and the adjacent convent there remains today the ruin of the bell tower in square white stone with the entrance door and two asymmetrical orders; Inside an archway is carved the effigy of the saint, as a warrior. The remaining traces of the church, three naves, and the convent are covered and enclosed by the overlying houses.
The convent was surrounded by a fame left for being in the sixteenth century a secret tribunal of the Inquisition.
